Changing Seasons

Just as the seasons change from spring, summer, fall, to winter, we experience different seasons in our lives. There are times when everything is going great! We can see blessings and life is good. Likewise, there can be seasons when it seems no matter what we do everything is going wrong.

God remains the same in both of these times!
We see in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8:
“For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to plan, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace.”

As we see in this Scripture, we will have times of happiness and sadness, times of growth and times of tearing down. Different seasons.

We need to be reminded that whatever is going on around us, stay strong in our relationship with the Lord. He is our strength in weakness, our comforter in hard times, and our guidance in this journey of life.

No matter where you are, if life seems good or not so good, remember this is a season and seasons change! God remains the same and it is important to stay focused on him whatever season we are in.
